If I weren’t a public affairs professional I’d be a… cafe owner in a small town somewhere, cooking for and gossiping with my patrons. Think Meryl Streep’s character in It’s Complicated.

On my first day at SFPA… a reporter hung up on me.

I enjoy working at SFPA because… it really is the best place on Earth. I’ve left twice and returned. Nowhere else is better than SFPA, well, except for maybe Biarritz, France, but for the most part, I truly mean this.

When leaving the office for lunch, my favorite mid-town Sacramento restaurant to be seen at is… Crepeville. I love it because you can write a check there!
