Mr. Hodges has worked on a wide range of public affairs projects including the Workers’ Compensation Action Network (WCAN), which waged a successful state-wide grassroots campaign to overhaul California’s workers’ compensation system. Additionally, he has worked on various ballot initiatives, most recently helping to defeat Proposition 79. Prior to joining Schubert Flint Public Affairs, Mr. Hodges spent over three years as a communications associate for the California Manufacturers & Technology Association, where he served as the association spokesperson and liaison between media and staff, assisted in the publishing of various brochures and handled the organization and planning of events. Mr. Hodges has also worked in professional women’s basketball with Maloof Sports & Entertainment as a member of the Sacramento Monarchs media relations staff. There, he acted as the intermediary between media and players, wrote various articles for the Web site and other publications and assisted in the marketing of the players and organization within the community. Mr. Hodges graduated from California State University, Sacramento where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications. He resides in Sacramento with his wife, Betsey.
